Data protection

Your data is protected in transit, at rest, and in use.

SlashExperts handles two kinds of sensitive data — your prospects' and buyers' contact and conversation data, and your customers' participation data. Both are handled so that only authorized systems and people can read them, access is restricted on a least-privilege basis, and we collect only what the product needs to do its job.

Encryption in transit

All traffic is secured with TLS 1.2+.

TLS enforced

Encryption at rest

Stored data is encrypted at rest using AES-256.

AES-256

Hosting & infrastructure

Hosted in the United States on AWS, with Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.

Access control

Internal access follows least-privilege, restricted to authorized systems and people.

Least-privilege

Data minimization & retention

We keep data only as long as the service requires, and remove personal data on deletion request.

Policy in place

Where you need the full detail, our security package includes our data-flow diagram and sub-processor list.

Privacy

Built to respect the people whose proof you share.

A Trust Layer only works if the customers in it are treated well and the buyers it reaches are handled lawfully. Everyone in the network participates by opt-in, controls their own participation, and can withdraw at any time; every booking and conversation happens with the participant's knowledge. We process personal data on your behalf, under a Data Processing Agreement.

GDPR

Full compliance with the EU GDPR — data subject rights, lawful processing, and cross-border transfer protections. Read our GDPR statement.

Compliant

CCPA

California residents have full control over their personal information, including opt-out and deletion rights. See our CCPA notice.

Ready

Data subject requests

Access, correction, and deletion requests are handled per our privacy documentation.

The signature standard

Real proof starts with a real customer.

The whole point of a Trust Layer is that a buyer hears from someone who has genuinely done what they're about to do. So verification isn't a feature here — it's the foundation. Every expert in the network is a real, verified customer, not an anonymous reviewer or a paid stand-in. We confirm who they are and that their experience is real before they ever appear in front of a buyer, and every conversation is on the record in your CRM.

Real customer Verified Consented On the record

Identity & customer status

Each expert is verified as a genuine customer before they appear.

Pending: verification mechanism

Consent & participation

Experts opt in explicitly and control their availability, topics, and when they step out.

Pending: participation controls

On the record

Every match, booking, and outcome is logged to your CRM, so the provenance of every proof point is auditable — never an unattributable claim.

Logged to CRM

Compensation transparency

Where experts are compensated, it's disclosed and structured so it never trades for a scripted opinion.

Pending: compensation / disclosure policy

This is the security story that matters most for a trust product: the proof your buyers act on is real because the customer behind it is real, verified, and accountable.

CRM connection

Connected to your CRM — on your terms, with least privilege.

SlashExperts syncs with your CRM so every booking and outcome lands on the record. That connection is built to take only the access it needs and to write only what you authorize. You stay in control of the scopes you grant, and you can revoke the connection at any time.

Authorization

The connection is scoped to the minimum permissions required.

Least-privilege

Least-privilege writes

SlashExperts writes only to the objects and fields you authorize.

You control scope

Revocation

You can revoke access at any time.

Supported platforms

Works with Salesforce, HubSpot, and the tools your team already runs on. See Integrations for the full list.

The result: the pipeline visibility you want, without handing over more access than the integration needs.

Security that travels with every connection.

From your CRM to every surface a buyer touches, the same controls follow your data — encrypted, scoped, and on the record.

Compliance & operations
